Our Entertainment Business Bachelor's Degree Program offers you a comprehensive business education focusing on the specialized needs of the entertainment and media industry. Over the course of 21 months you’ll engage in classes and labs covering a broad scope of business, finance, and management training that stress practical applications of the core skills driving the success of today’s emerging companies.
You’ll start by learning the basics of business management, with curriculum that will sharpen your writing skills and develop your understanding of the dynamics and economics of entertainment production. You’ll also establish the etiquette of professionalism, and build on campus resources through networking and developing ideas with peers and instructors who share the same love of entertainment media.
After securing a solid foundation, you’ll enter our core business courses that use project-based curriculum to recreate the types of scenarios you’ll see in the corporate world. This includes career training in statistics and data analysis, international business, and entertainment business law, as well as advanced entertainment specific courses like artist management, entertainment media distribution, and intellectual property.
Near the end of the program you’ll combine your knowledge, experience, and personal vision to research and create a business proposal for your own company. You’ll be responsible for taking an original idea from start to finish – including finding your market, creating a marketing plan, identifying sources of funding, developing financial reports, executing and justifying internet strategies and website development, and more.
